New Years spin 2015-1

New Years Spin

Gary McLoughlin January 3, 2015

This New Years Eve, as we have done for a few years now, we had a go at some steel wool spinning..a weird trick of light painting that my friend and fellow photographer David Robinson turned me onto a few years back.  Kind of like our own fireworks that look so so in real time, but capture the moment on a long exposure, and wow!

All you need is some cable, some steel wool, and a metal egg whisk. don't believe me?...just google it!

Might add a few more images...

Enjoy, Gary
